We stumbled across this shop on one evening and we had to come back the next day to visit, it was well worth it! The shopkeepers were so lovely and happy to show us their fabrics. I ended up buying 9m of the most beautiful denim (Japanese made). I really appreciated their hospitality and hope to visit one day in the future. Accidentally stumbled past this place on a walk back to the hotel, went in and was completely amazed at the beauty of the pieces. I bought a cotton and linen shirt with a cut and shape I’ve not seen before - I wore it the same evening and instantly received a compliment. I would have bought more things but it was my last day in Kyoto. If you like interesting clothes with a workwear / vintage vibe you’ll love it here.
